About: Walter is a local beagle in need of rehoming. His parents recently moved into an assisted living and can no longer care for him. He has been living with a family member who reached out for help with finding a better situation for him. Walter is a sweet, affectionate boy who likes to curl up at your feet. He does well with other dogs at home and when boarded in a home setting. He has not been around children or cats or been crated. Walter is house trained, rides well in the car and does well when left alone although is very happy when his people return. He LOVES walks and is good on the leash. Walter is still getting used to his new environment which is a little more active than he is used to. He has developed a little fear anxiety, barking when startled. It is easily managed by calling his name before approaching. He is currently taking daily medication which is helping him adjust.

Walter is living in Rhode Island.
