We are always happy to welcome new volunteers!

There are many opportunities based on the amount of time you have to spend and the level of involvement you feel is best for you.

Whether you have an hour, a month, or an unlimited amount of time, there is an opportunity to volunteer.

Foster homes provide many benefits for our beagles who are awaiting their forever homes. Fostering is one of the most invaluable experiences for our beagles. Both short-term and long-term foster homes are needed.

Our Volunteer Opportunities

    • Screen foster applicants.

    • Issue and renew foster contracts.

    • Track foster availability.

    • Track monthly preventatives for dogs in foster and mail as needed.

    • Screen applicants.

    • Match approved applicants with adoptable dogs.

    • Follow up post-adoption to check-in and give support as needed.

    • Approve and organize fundraising campaigns.

    • Organize volunteers as needed.

    • Support and help carryout fundraising campaigns.

    • Organize the rescue’s participation at local events.

    • Organize volunteers as needed.

    • Represent the rescue at events.

    • Talk with people about our rescue.

    • Care for our dogs that may be at the event.

    • Visit the homes of potential adopters to help determine if they will provide a happy and safe home for one of our beagles.

    • Transport dogs to their fosters, vet appointments etc.

    • Represent the rescue at events with your beagle.

    • Talk with people about the breed.

    • Care for your dog while at the event.

Once submitted, our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to set up a day and time that works for both of you to go over our volunteer opportunities and answer any questions you may have. We try to respond within 72 hours, however, as an all volunteer rescue it occasionally takes us a bit longer. We appreciate your patience.
