Thelma is a sweet, young stray rescued from the south who has blossomed into a loving and affectionate companion. Estimated to be 1–2 years old and weighing 25 lbs, she is fully housetrained and has adapted beautifully to indoor life—she especially loves curling up on the sofa or in a bed with her humans. Thelma gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is incredibly gentle with children, making her a perfect fit for a family.

While she is generally a quiet girl, she has a playful side and can be vocal during playtime. As a high-energy young beagle, she is currently working on her leash manners and would benefit from some continued training. Thelma is a champion snuggler who does well in a crate after a little initial adjustment and is a dedicated "super chewer," so she will thrive in a home with plenty of durable toys to keep her occupied. She is now healthy, happy, and ready to travel north to meet her forever family!
