Taco is an adorable redtick beagle mix from the South whose family, unfortunately, couldn’t keep her due to changing circumstances. She’s a friendly, affectionate pup full of energy and excitement, always ready to play—especially if there’s a ball involved—and she loves to soak up attention. A total cuddle bug, Taco gets along well with other dogs, having lived with two, and would probably enjoy a canine sibling, though she could thrive as an only dog with plenty of love and exercise. She does best in a calmer environment, as too much rough play or barking can overwhelm her, prompting her to retreat to her crate to relax. She enjoys napping in her crate, stays close to home in the yard, and is generally very quiet. Given her enthusiasm and tendency to jump, she might not be the best fit for small children or seniors. At 9 months old and about 22 pounds.
Taco will be heading to New England once she finds an adopter or foster.
