Jamie is a beautiful beagle from the south who came to us with two other beagles after their elderly owner moved into assisted living. She’s 6 years old, about 28 lbs, and incredibly friendly and sweet—everyone loves her. With her gorgeous markings and active personality, she’s outgoing and playful. While she was a bit yappy at her southern foster in a kennel setting, she’s been pretty quiet in her current foster home. She’s loving, playful, gets along well with other dogs, and sleeps through the night in bed with her foster parents.

She seems fully potty trained even whining once letting her foster mom know she needed to go out—she had peed a little in the house, then finished outside. That’s her way of telling us she’s a smart girl. We think she would do best with another dog in the home because she whines sometimes when the other dogs go for a walk without her.
