Daphne is a sweet, friendly, and outgoing beagle mix who charms everyone she meets. A total lovebug, she becomes even more affectionate as she settles in, often greeting people by flopping over for belly rubs. About a year old and weighing 22 pounds, shes looking for a family to give her the same love she so freely offers. She loves giving kisses and spending time with her people.

Like many young dogs, she's playful, curious, and sometimes a bit too adventurous—climbing where she shouldn't—but she's learning the rules. She's already mastered sitting patiently for treats and meals. Daphne adores toys and bones, happily emptying the toy box and carrying them in and out through the dog door at her foster home. She can clear baby gates, climb wire fencing, or slip through gaps, so shell need a secure yard or plenty of exercise. A home with kids over 10 is best to prevent escapes. She's not a fan of crates but does fine loose when her foster parents are away, and she's housetrained.

Daphne will make a wonderful family dog. She's currently being fostered south of Boston and is available for visits.
