Bo is from a southern shelter where he struggled to thrive. Despite the staff's best efforts to find him a home, he remained without a match, so they reached out for assistance. This sweet, friendly 9-year-old weighed 43 lbs. when he arrived and has already lost four pounds. While solidly built, he could shed a little more to reach his ideal weight. He enjoys walks, which makes weight management easier for someone willing to invest time and care.

This friendly, easygoing boy has quickly settled into his foster home and even briefly plays with the resident puppy. True to his beagle nature, he is generally calm and quiet until he spots a cat or other critter, at which point he joyfully sings the song of his people. Bo would thrive in a home with people around often so he can soak up love. A fenced yard would be a bonus but is not required.
