Spike is an owner surrender whose previous owner purchased him from a pet store but realized their apartment doesn’t allow pets. Spike is 6 months old and currently weighs about 17 lbs. He gets along well with other dogs and has lived with children. He is your typical young, active, energetic, curious beagle puppy.

This sweet boy is crate trained, though he has developed a dislike for it after being left in the crate for long periods, often vocalizing his discomfort. He may be beginning to show signs of separation anxiety, and while generally quiet when in an x-pen or behind a baby gate, he can become quite vocal when crated.

Spike will be headed north when an adopter or foster is found.
