Emu is a sweet, outgoing, playful, and loving puppy. He is a true mixed breed with Embark identifying more than six breeds. He is around 10 months old and currently about 30 lbs, but is expected to be about 40 lbs when fully grown.

Emu is a very affectionate guy. He seems to have outgrown his crazy puppy energy phase and is enjoying snuggling as well as playing, easily entertaining himself with a squeaky or chew toy. He is well-behaved for a puppy and seems to have mastered housetraining, using bells to let his foster mom know he needs to go outside. Emu loves his foster brother who he often plays with, and he loves running around outside. He has done great with leash walking and rides well tethered in a car. Emu will do best with someone home a lot and a fenced in yard. He would love another playful dog. He is a wonderful hiking buddy and has the stamina to hike for miles.

Emu is a sweet, gentle fella who would be a wonderful family dog. Now he just needs the right family to find him! Emu is being fostered in western Massachusetts and is available for visits.
