Brownie is a 3-year-old, handsome little beagle weighing about 15 lbs. He was surrendered by a hunter in the south because he didn't hunt. He's a timid fella after spending his first few years in a kennel. But he quickly opens his heart and is very sweet and loves to be pet. His foster says, "he LOVES his toys and takes them ALL outside and keeps them in a tidy pile or keeps them by his dog bed."

Brownie is house and crate-trained, and rides well in a car. He loves and is playful with other dogs. Because he's shy, it would be best for any children in his forever home to be over 10 and for him to have a fenced in yard where he could build confidence. Bonus for beagle lovers - he's quiet! Brownie is arriving in MA on June 6.
