About: Bonnie has come a long way from her days in an outdoor kennel with little human contact. Now she enjoys daily walks and the comfort of a cozy home. Though still timid and shy, she’s open to love and affection, needing plenty of time to settle into new surroundings and meet new people. Once she feels safe, she eagerly seeks snuggles and attention. She does best with women, gentle movements, and people who crouch to her level, and can be startled by unfamiliar noises. Bonnie loves relaxing on the sofa and sleeping in bed with her people. She gets along well with other dogs, has medium energy, and is housetrained. At about 6 years old and 39 lbs, she’s perfect for adopters who can give her the time and space to adjust at her own pace. In return, they’ll gain a loving and affectionate companion. She’s currently being fostered in the Boston area and is available for visits.
